


Golf's international elite met at the second Mercedes-Benz Championship from 11 to 14 September 2008 at the Gut Lärchenhof Golf Club near Cologne. The tournament attracted a world-class field, including Bernhard Langer, Martin Kaymer, Søren Hansen, Fred Couples, Stuart Appleby and Daniel Chopra.
More than 12,000 spectators celebrated the winner of the 2008 Mercedes-Benz Championship at the Gut Lärchenhof Golf Club in Pulheim. In a thrilling finish, Robert Karlsson claimed victory in this world-class tournament with a two-stroke lead for a total score of 275. In addition to prize money of EUR 320,000, the Swede won two Mercedes-Benz design masterpieces: the hand-crafted Mercedes-Benz Challenge Cup and a brand new GLK.
