Clear styling and the interplay between sharply defined edges and curves reveal an artistic design with undiluted aesthetic appeal. The long, sloping bonnet flows into the new-design front end bearing the Mercedes Star. The lighting system is another innovation. LED indicator strips integrated as standard in the bi-xenon headlamps form a "C" shape, making an unmistakable visual impact – even at night. The roof line slopes sharply at the rear, and the low height of the rear windows reinforces the vehicle’s sport pedigree. The rear section rounds off the voluptuous design, boasting effortlessly powerful contours and night-design LED tail lights.

Incorporating high-grade metallic and non-metallic paints, the range of colours available reflects the radiant design. They are an impressive complement to the imposing profile of the CLS by day and by night. The CLS is sure to make a lasting impression.

The CLS 500 BlueEFFICIENCY has a particularly sporty appearance. This model comes as standard with a front and rear apron in AMG bodystyling, a radiator grille with a slat in a chrome/silver finish and sports pedals in brushed stainless steel. In addition the CLS 500 BlueEFFICIENCY and the CLS 63 AMG come as standard with LED daytime driving lamps.

With a precise eye for detail and refinement, our interior designers have created something that extends the external beauty of the CLS into the interior. Boasting innovative details and high-grade materials, the interior embodies a commitment to premium quality. The vehicle's classically sporty credentials and hand-finished character are underlined by exclusive "silver chrome" surfaces, wood or black piano lacquer trim elements, a large TFT colour display and analogue clock. Featuring individual seats in the rear, CLS passengers are afforded the highest levels of comfort.

All cockpit controls and display instruments are ergonomically arranged and contribute to the famous Mercedes-Benz "Welcome Effect". All displays in the central instrument cluster are easy to read and their settings can be adjusted intuitively via the multifunction TFT display. This allows the driver to focus on what's most important – the road ahead.

The model is further accentuated by the optional Exclusive Package. Its use of the finest materials in the interior underlines the vehicle's hand-finished character.

The standard-specification seats in the CLS provide a visual highlight, offering all occupants the highest standards of travelling comfort. The rear passengers also enjoy luxury individual seats. The optional Multicontour Seat package for the front seats pampers your back on all lengths of journey. The air chambers in the seat side bolsters provide enhanced lateral support in PRE-SAFE® situations.
